24/7 Gym near Plymouth & Terryville, CT
Plymouth center is about fifteen minutes away, Terryville closer to twenty.
Terryville is home to the Lock Museum of America, and Plymouth center sits west of it toward Thomaston. Both are on Route 6, and Route 6 runs straight to Route 8.
Wherever you start, the drive ends at a floor members can use around the clock, all year, with a key tag. If it's been a while since you trained, that helps: come in at whatever hour feels comfortable and learn your way around at your own pace.
During the day, one of the owners, Matt or Colin, is usually at the front desk if you have a question.
Getting here
From Terryville, take Route 6 west through Plymouth center to Route 8. Plymouth center is only a few minutes from the on-ramp. Go north on Route 8 for about ten miles, and in Torrington follow Route 4 west right onto Migeon Ave to number 634. Parking costs nothing, with room in front and more in back.
Getting back into it
Coming back after years off, or starting for the first time? Start with a free consult: thirty minutes one-on-one with a coach to talk through what you want and anything that's bothering you. You'll leave with a plan for your first few weeks. Rather not call? Answer a few questions on the About You page and an owner will reach out.
Machines for the first month
- Hammer Strength ISO leg press: each leg works on its own arm, so a weaker side can't hide.
- Hammer Strength leg extension: one simple movement for the front of your thighs.
- The DY row: you lean into a chest pad, so your upper back does the work and your lower back stays out of it.
- Cable stacks: change the weight by moving a pin.
Machines guide the path of each rep, which makes them a sensible place to rebuild before you move to the barbell.
Try it first
